When You Quiet The Ordinary Mind, You Enter The Wisdom Field Within
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy For Individuals and Couples
Beneath the thinking mind, something truer awaits.
Within each of us, beneath the noise of self-criticism, fear, and the weight of accumulated wounds and story, there exists a field….. life affirming, vast, and luminous. It has been called many things across many traditions. In the psychedelic therapy tradition, it is often called the inner healer. I call it the wisdom field.
Those who enter it often describe meeting something that feels like a compassionate presence, a presence that emanates intimacy, intelligence, and a deeper kind of knowing that helps us realize our own wholeness and goodness which have been hidden under layers of fear and self-protection.
The ordinary mind, busy, defended, habitual, rarely finds its way there on its own. It is too occupied with managing, narrating, protecting. Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy creates the conditions for something different, a temporary quieting of the reactive thinking mind that obscures the field, so that what lives within this field of wisdom and compassion can be felt, heard, and known. To enter the wisdom field is to discover that the longing you have carried for wholeness, for coherence, for coming home to yourself, was never a sign of what was missing. It was a sign of what was waiting.
If something here feels relevant to where you are, I'd welcome a conversation.
